I disagree with your female comment, some of the biggest slobs I know are female, myself included. To answer your question, I think that some of us are just wired this way (messy). I have been trying to clean up for a month, no luck! Get another dresser or something and stuff everything in it. I am sorry I don't have any really useful suggestions, I am seeking help myself, but I wanted to speak for all the messy girls out there.
