Gesse, have you been working with me long? I have a boss I have worked 9 years for in two different places. He is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO egotistical, that I don't really know how he gets his head out of the door. He got caught doing something wrong a year or so back, when all the employees were interviewed during an "environmental worlkplace analysis". He thinks I ratted him out, as I knew about his side actions. Well, I really wish I HAD now! I covered for his sorry butt because he pulled me out of two other hellish workplaces during the past 11 years, so I thought I owed him a little for that. Stupid loyal me! He has really become the epitomy of the A** H*** boss! When you look up AH, it says "see RON". Well, his days are numbered if he keeps pushing me, because he is not well liked by higher level management due to his haughty know-it-all attitude. I have enough to sink him now, the only problem is that I have found out twice in my career that the replacement boss can be a whole lot worse than the "known evil". For me, the best option is to get promoted or transfered to another office. The problem is that I am not in the "right groups". And I say what's on my mind when someone asks me. Truth is such a fearful thing to some people, for some strange reason. Anyway, good luck in your situation. Is there someone above your boss that you could casually drop that info to? You also may have access to EEO. Trouble with that, as I have found, even if you win, you still lose, as upper management is aware of your activity (I won against a former boss. She was eventually "moved" from her position, and I received a financial settlement, but I had already tranfered to work for my prior and current boss). Oh well, hope you find an answer, but DO KNOW that you are certainly NOT alone!

Be well.
