Hey everyone --

thanks a lot for your caring messages and good suggestions.

i let myself skip chemistry class last night and sleep, even though my partner disapproved of it. i'm feeling better today, because that additional stress made me need more sleep. i also went to the library and picked up some light reading. i was able to laugh at some comics today, so i know i'm feeling much better.

i'm kind of accepting that some of my priorities -- like exercising -- are going to be on the back burner until i go back to first shift in 2 weeks. right now i have to focus on resting, work, and school, so i am trying to give myself those things first.

meanwhile, i am trying to focus on what's right rather than what's wrong, and cut down on coffee, which is really disrupting my sleep schedule.

medusa -- about work -- my job is at large company where the workforce is mainly operators. the work is very simple, and we are judged on largely superficial indicators. i plan to wear professional clothing (many don't), behave professionally, and put some of the big boss' favorite motivational books (zig ziglar stuff) on my cubicle. it's silly, but doing similar things has made me look good to the top folks in the past without earning the dislike of the people i really work next to .
