Sucking my thumb.
Class tonight--the woman next to me couldn't contain her joy, back from her honeymoon, bought a house with him yesterday. So beautiful that alone should suffice her. Nice, beautiful newlywed, with new house.
In the room were 6 other women, either friends and in on the wedding, or married themselves. Two of the woman pregnant. All beautiful, most nice. Laughing, joking about all the sex she was having on her honeymoon.
One of the other (pregnant) women's birthday. We passed around presents. Someone had taken pictures from the honeymooner's wedding of her (both are models--what a weird word) and given them as a gift with a baby book.
Went home. Fetal position. Trying to get my thumb to taste as good as it used to when I was 5.
Many salty tears.
