Yeah, I guess in winter, there is the expectation that it is ok to hibernate a bit, and even when you want to be outside, the outdoor population of humans (not in vehicles anyway) is less than in summer.

But your winter does sound more temperate than some of ours. Maybe I would like winter better in that kind of clime. OTOH, I think your daylight hours are shorter in winter than mine, and I think for me that is at least part of the problem. Maybe you are genetically well suited for your geography, or geographically well-suited for your genetics! I was going to say that maybe you would be happier at an even more northern lattitude, where the winters are long and the summers short, and winter nights are long and days short, but then you'd have to give up the temperate winters.. not to mention having to put up with very long daylight hours in the summer. Oh well. I guess you could have a "summer" home in southern South America, so that you can always be "on the dark side" of the earth!

Start shopping for superb sunglases and a good hat with a big brim! Or a parasol?

Take care.
