It does sound scary. If it helps any, I take Risperdal on an as needed basis with my pdoc's approval, if not blessing. It does have its advantages, and I am guessing that Zyprexa would as well.
I know it's hard to face weight gain, and heaven only knows how much I hate to look in the mirror. But if it helps you get through the bad patches...
So this happens every year? Or are there any new stressors?
