In reply to for all the freaky folk---just wondering.., posted by dreamerz on February 9, 2003, at 0:15:36

Questions.. When these "feelings" happen, does it seem to happen more than once, like in clusters? Does it go away for a while, then come back? Do you have maybe several a day, or a week, then none for a while, then it starts up again?

Did this just start recently, or have you had these "feelings" for a while?

Just wondering because I have been diagnosed as having temporal lobe epilepsy (about 8 yrs. ago). It can give one some pretty strange symptoms, and be very annoying. When I was being diagnosed, the only way I could describe the way I felt during my "spells", was that I would be awake, but felt like I was in a dream, and some slight out of body experience (depersonalization). I sometimes get this really strang intense deja vu feeling. Some symptoms are just beyond words, I couldn't describe them if I wanted too!!!

I don't mean to scare you, just when I hear (or read) about someone having your type of feelings, or similar, I always suggest TLE. I had no idea what was wrong with me when I was younger, before I ever told anyone about my "spells". I thought I was going nuts.

I could be totally...whats the word I'm looking for (thinking, well typing out loud) going in the wrong direction with this. I still never thought of the specific word I was wanting to use. Like you said, its on the tip of the tongue, but it just won't come out. Frustrating...

Keep me updated

Jodie
