Yes, I remember and I told you then: it's very bad for you. But you had to just run the little science experiment yourself, n'est-ce pas?? Sometime I feel like no one listens... (sniff sniff).

Soda eats holes in your stomach. Full stop.

And we Buffalonians say "soda," except I've lived far enough away from western NY for so long now that I say soda just like the other central NYers. However, we're in a college town, so I think if we once did say "pop" around here, the local consumer-driven economy (spurred on by the students' parents' money), has made the local restaurants and grocery-stores capitulate. Our local super-food chain, Wegmans, is a corporation out of Rochester (also western NY), and they have their own version of coke and sprite, seltzer, etc, which they call "W-Pop," however, and that's not about to change...

Hot water with lemons squeezed into it, that's the drink to drink, natural diuretic. I think it helped me lose weight last year...
