I'm a nurses aide & we have to responed if someone is calling you for help,But if it's just me hearing things It makes it hard to know if it's really someone calling me.I saw my Dr. today & he ask me if i wanted to go on meds to stop the voices,I told him that i was scared to take meds for that again.Saw he said when i see him again in sept. & it's not any better well start meds to stop the voices. He did say that i could call him if it's to mush for me to handle,but as i posted before i have a problem making phone calls(he knows),So I was hoping for some help if it's not a bother to anyone.thanks
Kelly, they have much better meds for voices now than when you were younger (stop the voices without side effects). In the meantime, hope you tell somebody you trust if they get worse. also, I've heard that humming will stop them (you can listen to your humming, and not the voices).
