I am shocked, stunned and speechless. I reread what you wrote over and over. There was never an explanation? There was never an apology on his end explaining his behavior? Not a phone call, letter or anything? Years of work just over in a second?
I am guessing that he was falling in love with you, that was his fear, not any aggressive behavior on your part. He should have sought supervision and dealt with his feelings professionally. There is NO EXCUSE for his behavior. This has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with him.
I had been thinking about you the past few weeks. I am so so so so so sorry this happened to you. It should never happen. And thank goodness you had the strength to see someone else. And that you feel like you can open up to him is a testament to your courage and open heart.
Pfinstegg, I am sorry you have been hurt in the worse way possible. You must be going over that last session thousands of times --- what happened? Something happened to him and you were a victim. I can't believe he hasn't tried to reach out to you and apologize.
Thank you for sharing. I miss you when you are not around.
