Wow. Is it with the same therapist? How long were you in therapy the first time?

> I think Madeline is completely right. It is more like ending a relationship. The first year is by far the most difficult, especially as I neared the holidays. Once I got past the first year, although I didn't forget her or our work together, it just wasn't as painful. Our ending bothered me and that feeling always lingered.We had a pretty good ending. I think there was so much tapering that it wasn't super intense. I had only been seeing her monthly so the conversation slowed considerably before it ended.

She said she wanted me to call her--for anything--but then added that she wasn't sure if that was more for her or for me.
