Corafree, i don't really know your history. I'm sorry your so frightened right now. do you have T or P-doc you could contact? Do you have any xanax or clonopin or anything? Sometimes even benedryl or gravol helps in a pinch. But I don't know what you can mix with your Effexor?
Breathing exercises might help.
Noticing how the emotions rise up to a creshendo, but then ease off like waves might help.
Chamomile tea(if its OK w/Effexor).
They might be able to help you with meds questions more on psycho-babble(as opposed to psychology). There are some very knowledgable people there.
And remmember, you haven't always felt this way. That this will pass. Right now its hard, but it will pass.
And being around people if at all possible is always good.
Sometimes when stuff gets real bad for me, I curl up nad rock and say over and over, "its ok, its ok", until the worst passes.
This will pass corafree, try not to be too scared, and distract yourself if you can.
Take care,
Muffled
