The thing that bothers me is I hear a lot of stories like this, where police are abusive even to people with out mental issues.
Locally we had an issure where a man suffering from a diabotic shock episode , and the police tazered him because he wouldn't follow the orders. I think he later died, he was very old too.
A workout instuctor at my club used to be a police officer and he told me about how to "get control" of people without it looking like to the general public as abuse.
It just worries me if I ever get pulled over for even speeding.
You were very lucky Toph that nothing really bad happened.
