i think sometimes we need to grieve for stuff.
grieving can be healing.
you can process that.
and a result is that you feel a bit better
and the memories etc are less likely to be invasive at inconvenient times.

but hard to strike the difference between that and wallowing...

i tend to do both i think.
but the latter...
is when i'm doing the head circle thing
and i end up feeling worse rather than better.
