I'm constantly astonished that people can be so cruel, especially to children. It's odd to think that nowadays there's so much fear of strangers when most abused children are abused by members of their families.

I'm so sorry to hear about your rabbits, and about the physical abuse. You're doing a great job with your own kids, expecially considering your history. It's wonderful to hear that you can be such a great mom after your own mom set such a shockingly poor example.
