My heart really really goes out to you. IT is so so extremely extremely cruel.
My dad also used to threaten me not to cry when he spanked me.. He used to make me get the stick myself with which he would beat me after. I think they get a kick out of it or something.. God knows why people become so cruel.
I wish for you that your kids love you a lot.. as I think they would do now. You deserve a lot of love and affections, and if it not your mom, I am sure you will find it someplace else.
You are right about divocing your mom. I fully support you.
