I hope that they would be pleased for you that you have found a place to discuss all these things with people who can be supportive.

It’s a tough choice to make, whether to reveal things that might identify you. But the important thing is whether it is ultimately helpful to you. I tend to feel that the wonderful things that you and others have said to me have made it worth taking the risk. I hope you also feel it was a risk worth taking.
I’m sure my ex-T could spot me if he ever came here, but it doesn’t bother me because if he’s half the person I think he is, he’ll be glad I’ve found this place of support.

I suspect they just don’t have the time. They’d probably only do it if they were curious about what therapy is like from the other chair. And they’ve read academic books during their training that purport to describe what therapy is like, so they probably figure they don’t need to come to a place like this. Of course *we* know that Babble is probably a better source!
