Mine has two offices -- one is in the top floor of an old victorian so it is literally up in the trees. It has windows on three sides -- those old fashion kind that fall out instead of sliding up. It is a long, narrow rectangle -- his rolltop is at the far end, length wise against the wall so you really can't see it and there is a huge plant along side it. His chair is in the middle and there is a great rug on the floor, over the carpet that has patterns to get lost in. There is a couch that runs along the narrow wall and it is flanked by two end tables with tiffany lamps. There are pillows on the couch and a soft blanket. The younger parts of me love that office. The roof slopes, like attic roofs do but it doesn't feel cramped, just small and safe. He calls it the treehouse office.

The other office I've grown to like. It is upstairs in a very old building, with hard wood floors and big doors. The hallways remind me of old Catholic schools. The office has very nice matching wing chairs and a matching couch, all moss green. He has another rug and pillows and stuff. There is a book shelf off to one side, which is a mess and small desk in another corner. It is in this office that he keeps stuff out -- the box I gave him and other little odds and ends. He also has an antique table with the sides folded down and a lace doiley on it. I love that table. It reminds me of my grandmother's house. This office only has one big window but it has high ceilings so doesn't feel dark or cramped. And this has more unusual artwork, though I cam't remember what it is right now. Isn't that funny? I guess I look at the ceiling more.

I haven't been to either place for a week. I miss them, I guess is why I wanted to write all of this. :(
