I second the lamps suggestion. It makes it so nice and cozy. I also like books/book shelves. As a client I like to see the books my T thinks are worthy enough to land on her shelf. As someone who works for a group of counselors, I know a lot of clients feel that same way because I hear their comments.
Congratulations on having an office to decorate!
