Gosh, Dinah. I feel bad that your T. just lets himself get angry at you- I don't think T's do that, generally. It's supposed to be a safe place where you can get angry, while he remains calmer, and tries to understand what's happening with you. What would therapy be like for you if you had a T. who didn 't get angry, ever, as most of us do? Wouldn't it hold more safety and possibilities for growth for you? I know you are used to him doing that, and have adapted to it, which shows how much strength you have. Honestly, I don't think I could handle that very well, myself. I think I'd feel like running and never coming back.
