One time when it was rainy/snowy, my pdoc was wearing...I don't even know how you would describe them, they were like these rubber booties that went slightly past his ankle. They weren't really boots. Are they called galoshes? They weren't normal men's boots but they weren't like kids' galoshes either. I called them his "booties" in my head.
They were the funniest things, they made him seem more endearing in a way because they were so goofy.
