Gosh, I'll bet your new therapist has never been in long term therapy. :(

Your feelings are your feelings. You shouldn't have to justify them as being "real". You saw somebody for an hour a week (?) for three years and grew to rely, trust, and care about them. It's only normal to grieve that very real loss.

Sigh. I don't suppose you could let your new therapist borrow your copy of "In Session"?
