Understand how you feel. May I ask why you do not see your old T anymore?
Lost mine about 3 years ago. No contact in any way. Saw this person for about 6 years. He was like my best friend. So hard. When think about today my stomach still turns on how painful it was. I at times want to talk to him so bad or just hear his voice. Someone found his address for me and wrote and told him how angry was at him for leaving. He did respond. Still thinks of me how am I doing and still cares. His office number is at bottom and many times would love to call. Told my new T this and he sees not problem with calling him. But this person is more open then other one. Knew nothing about him. If this new T is not working for you look for someone else if possible. Mine is better in many ways then other one. Yes still talk about him almost every week in therapy. T promises he will not leave and be here till the end. But gets in the way of full trust and do not want to depened on him for much. So really want you to know understand completly how you feel. Please let me know how you are dong. Today may be difficult and painful about the lost but honestly it does get easier. Not doubt here still miss him but easier to handle. Hang in there and best to you.
