Glad you're feeling a bit better PJ. Doxycycline is known to have an anti-inflammatory effect in certain conditions eg. acne, rosacea and chronic periodontal disease. Minocycline, a related drug, has shown some efficacy in rheumatoid arthritis. As you know, RA is a severe auto-immune arthritis.
