The finding of pyrroluria (it really ought to have two rr's) is one thing. It's a real empirical measurement. The implications (the disorder designated as pyroluria) is a theory. I cannot find corroborative medical or biochemical evidence for the theoretical form of pyroluria."

It's real, alright. I fit 90% of the symptoms, both mental and physical.I've been really crippled by the mental symptoms in terms of being unable to hold a job. I had to quit my last one almost a month ago because the mood swings, anxiety, and depression got so bad. Mine manifests as ultra-ultra rapid cycling bipolar, and it doesn't respond too well to drugs.
It hit bad 3-6 months after I turned 19 years old. It was after graduating high school and starting a very stressful fulltime physical labor job where I had to work in high heat during the summer. I went to school for one semester and was part time at that job for the spring of '03, and then I went back to fulltime that summer when, by then, it became hot. By that fall, the severe depression had hit.
I just started the recommended regimen of vitamins/minerals/aminos for the pyroluria, and I seem to be feeling some relief almost few weeks later.
They have an official website for this disorder now:
http://www.kryptopyrrole.comAnother good site about this:
