Hiya TJ,

I was meaning to ask if you managed to keep off all dairy or all milk at least:-. The butter is cream and that's different from milk , I think??
Anyway that's good to hear as I couldnt keep off dairy, even if I ever do manage to cut out tea or caffeine. I've no lucK below 4 or 5 cups tea a day, well that's down from 8 -10 cups a year ago. ( or 3 cups tea and a cup of coffee so far.) Any lower and the headaches start..and last 3 days each time!..and they ONLY disappear if I drink a few cups of tea in a row.. catch up! together with some aspirin.
I was reading that tea contains half the caffeine per cup of coffeee. I always thougt it ws a lot less. Looks like I need 5 cups of tea of caffeine worth.. I can do Coke instead with the caffeine too:-)

How long have you been taking inositol now?
I have some here I haven't opened as yet... been trying the tryptophan lately and d-ribose.

Interesting about the siberian gingeng too. That used to work for me.. but they stopped making the whole root and last I looked I could only get the extract.
That tincture sounds like its worth a try if I can get my hands on any. It did help me for many years.I used to buy in caps and make a tea out of it.(used to be the Solgar brand before Solgar opened their own Aussie branch with Aussie formulations.. long time ago). Actually if I could have kept up with the Siberian Gingeng I might never had tried SSRI's and may not have gone down the thryoid med path either!
So also when did you start on the Siberian Gingseng. Its supposed to help adrenal function I think in theory, but as with all herbs it probably does a lot more in a more balanced way.

Re the short term memory.. yeah I know... is it catchy? LOL:-)
At uni I can't remember anything from a lecture so I record them..and I cant remember anything I read either. I just play the reocrding over and over and try to understand what is going on.. then work everything out with my brains.. and even they aint the best. I got thru 1st year as its all multiple choice..(actually I topped the subjects, LOL, with a LOT of help from many people especially Bob on the thyroid forum who used to teach Chem:-) I can work out the best answer from a choice and colour in a dot...just can't remember the word if someone asks me.
This year they expect me to write out some answers as well as the multiple choice bit..so I don't know.. how do you write if you can't think of the word you want to say? I'm attempting Food Chemistry and Biochemistry.. but not sure if it will be too much.

ON short term memory, I have to carry my book with the list of 3 things and amounts I have to mix togther over to the fume cupboard.. NOONE else does this;-).. but otherwise I cant remember a list of 3 things and amounts of each.. even for a few seconds, LOL. I've had some strange looks but so far noone has asked why I bring my book with me:-)
