i'd bet it can. i've found my experience with it to be pretty similar to prozac or zoloft, both of which can cause hypomania (i had it on prozac). like i said, i can't take 1g fish-oil softgels on consecutive days without minor insomnia and bad dreams.
today i went out and bought neuromins DHA, since DHA has a shorter half-life than EPA and will leave your system faster. but it will wind up being a bit more expensive for me.
