I'm sorry I misunderstood your situation. I thought you weren't eating because of stress rather than lack of money. Yes, definitely see if you can get into a shelter. Also, you might find help at your local NAMI office. They may be able to help you find a shelter, free medical care, food stamps etc. If you can feel better, then you'll be better able to put your life back together. I'm sure you know that though.
