Thanks for the information on naltrexone. If I had a personal script pad I would dabble with many drugs (and combinations). The GP hurdle is formidable though.

I am actually having some success with magnesium. If I take about 1/3 tsp of magnesium it makes my muscles soften and relax. It also stops foot cramps. After reading some of the links supplied in posts, I suspect I may have had a deficiency of Mg from symptoms such as eyelid twitches and migraines.

Mg dose effects don't last v long though - around 3-4 hours.
Does anyone know whether taking Mg regularly will eventually sustain the positive effects?

I was hoping that Mg might also ease social anxiety. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have any effect on that.
