Light box therapy...any current users?

Hi,
My pdoc recommended I try light box therapy as an adjunct to my meds, since I am of Finnish (way back) descent. Apparently the good Finns have a signficant degree of darkness-related depression. My ancestors (great great's?) moved from Finland to Northern Michigan, so they still didn't get as much light. So, if there is a genetic predisposition to this, then it might help me.

I read through the archives that I could find on Google. I am interested in hearing recent experiences good or bad about light box therapy.
