Perhaps I am getting less than I think which is probably ok.If it says something like "each tablet contains 50 mg zinc, as the gluconate", or merely says zinc, 50 mg per tablet.....then you're being told the zinc dose, not the total mass of the zinc gluconate salt (which is a deceptive descriptor, sometimes used for expensive supplements like SAMe).

> Ok, thanks. RAI?Since I'm butting in already, RadioActive Iodine....It poisons the thyroid in cases of hyperthyroid, but getting just the right amount is pure guesswork. Often the poisoning is too effective, and the the patient goes hypothyroid.
