it's called Transcranial direct current stimulation, and no its not a shock. I've wrote about it here on babble before, put it on certain section of your head, such has mood, or enhance mathemtiacl abilities, it has cathode and anode, postive and negative electricty.

if heat and current stimulation could improve lowered nuerotransmitter levels. You know after a hard work out and your burning up, want water....but you feel ok. Or a fever, i can't find any evdience that heat can help depreession. But like i said maybe this could be read by soemone and would do tests and see if it works. In my opionion, it could make you very irrtible and not a good mood outside hot with electircal cords on your head.....be a fryin pan in a bad mood. Needs more studies to confirm
