I've used 5-HTP with high dose Prozac and eventually I did get a bit of SS going on but it was mild. Somewhere in the vicinity of 100 mg of Prozac and 100-200 mg of 5-HTP I started to feel not so good.
Everyone is different though. I think they can be used safely together. You can buy bulk powder 5-HTP on ebay and milligram scales are cheap so you could weigh out 10 mg and start small.
