i've take a low dose of 5-HTP with Prozac, didnt really have anything happen to me, but one time i took 3 50mg's .... the serotonin will build up in the synapse, i didn't actually have serotonin syndrome but it was defiantly noticeable to keep doses down below 100mg or 50
you can also try SAM-e but it's more stimulating, and expensive....but you can SAM-e on ebay
