It is unfortunate that your very important thread was hijacked. It only takes one person to negatively impact a website. For example, trolls do this all of the time. I hope you are able to tolerate or completely ignore uncivil posts by people who would hijack the subject line. When this happens to me, the first thing I do is to rewrite the subject line to reflect the theme of the thread.
