Yeah, I would 2nd doxepin over trazodone.

For me, trazodone can work for insomnia that is primarily caused by anxiety, however doxepin (or remeron) are better for initiating / maintaining sleep.

Doxapin is a very strong antihistamine, you can get a decent sleep effect in doses lower than 10mg.
