As most know gaba is a key neurotransmitter.Its the major inhibitory one used in calming anxiety,mood disorders and seizures.Gaba itself is sold in powder in health stores for outragerous prices but as most know gaba alone doese NOT cross the BLOOD BRAIN BARRIER and needs a carrier.Pharm meds either mimic gaba like Gabapentin or use a synthetic carier like gaba vinvyl which actualy attaches to yess vinyl.
Thee are however some suitable forms of carriers,not many but one is the demonized ghb which used a hydroxy acid as its carrier into the brain.Problem with this is the nutrient is way to powerful and intoxicating however the FDA after banning it from health stores saw fit to make it a pharm made called xyrem you can look that up raising the price at least 10 fold.
The russians were brilliant.They created picamilon which is gaba attached to niacin which is its carrier,so here we have a safe effective carrier any many many people found reliaf from this nutrient which even in russia i believe became also a pharm med.
Well now the GREAT ALMIGHTY FDA plans to actualy band this nutrient.Yes sir,a nutrient unlike ghb that cause no serious mind altering affect,is vey mild in effect,and works.They claim some how its a drug.Google picamilon illegal and see for your selves.My god both ingredients are pure safe nutrients,i cant believe they are attempting this.I truly hope they dont get away with it.
For the record other effective gaba enahcning nutrients are
- L Theanine which raises both gaba and dopamine levels.
- Phenibut another popular russian nutrient that raises gaba but known to be toxic.
- Kava Kava was pretty potent at raising gaba.
- Valerian root is said also to raise gaba
None of these however seemed to have the success of picamlion.
