Thanks Scott. Things got crazy on this thread, which is not what my intention were.
I clearly stated that I'm NOT taking Tramadol anymore.
The higher dose of Geofon (180mg) was too activating and made me irritable. So I'm back to 120mg.
I'm trying to find the right add-on. I can either do low doses 150mg at a time) 2-3 times a day of Trileptal or I can try to dose the Depakote Sprinkles a few times a day with Klonopin.
I tried 500mg Depakote ER and it made me hyper crazy. After a few days of that I couldn't take it. For some reason the sprinkles hit me better.
High doses of Trileptal cause incredibly painful joint pain and swelling, so much so it's hard to walk. So a high dose of Trileptal, which I love, is out of the question.
I was even thinking of trying Topamax. Years ago it was great for me, but caused cystitis, which was painful.
So, for now, I'm really trying the Depakote. I just hate the liver implications, as I enjoy a glass of wine occasionally.
I just don't understand why meds like Depakote and Lamictal make me manicky.
