This seems to be most serious study I have found about Sceletium....

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3828542/

In another study someone said sceletium has "truth serum" effects. To me sceletium feels like a strong tranquilizer almost similar to a mood stabilizer with a "kick" that seems to soothe the pleasure areas of the brain. I'm taking a low dose for derealization, anxiety and depression which has decreased since starting just over 2 weeks ago. I've seen sceletium listed as a "nootropic".

Headache and nausea side effect are making me look for another source of sceletium.

Any further info on sceletium will be greatly appreciated.
