i had ect. i can still function. i've had no brain damage. the depression is much worse than the ect i did.
keep fighting and please don't let what somebody says on a internet site get you down.
lot's of 'experts' here. some are best to just ignore. you know yourself best. trust in yourself and the doctors that you also trust.
