Well, my experience has really been a surprise to me. i went in there with the idea that this is my last shot. it could very well be a disaster with me having brain damage from it. but it has been the opposite. yeah ive had effects on my memory along with the twmporary effects on my coordination and stomach and headache. it hasnt made my mood conpletely better yet. but i do notice more details in things now. its hard to explain, but ive really enjoyed it.
my favorite thing about ECT is that is doesnt feel like some unnatural, forced alteration of your mood, like what i experience with meds. no buzz from it. or numbing of your emotions.
