Scott, YES. You're the only person who's ever made that connection. Thank you!! Somehow that is so comforting -- it's always good to just have a reason or a possible reason. I didn't even know that the rapid mood swings were a hallmark symptom of BPD. I've been dx'd BPD 3 times although interestingly my pdoc doesn't think I am. I think it's bc it has such pejorative connotations. He said it should just be called 'trauma survivor'. Glad to hear that the Risperdal can potentially help bc I'd hate to stop taking something that helps the depression and lethargy so much.
