Wow! I honestly have never seen a better example of "pedant" in my 59 years - I looked it up, and it said, "Also see: SLS". LOL!!!!!!!
I'll save you a lookup. From Merriam-Webster:
a) One who makes a show of knowledge
b) One who is unimaginative or who duly emphasizes minutiae in the presentation or use of knowledge.
As for me, I eschew obfuscation.
