Hmm. You might be right. I've just noticed that on e.g. Valium, a smaller dose (2.5-5mg) would sometimes feel stimulating, whereas 10mg didn't.
I'm using Klonopin (1mg at night). The anxiety felt like it hit close to when I took last night's dose (0.75mg), but maybe I was withdrawing from the previous night's 1mg and 0.75mg wasn't enough to cover me. I ended up taking 1mg and felt okay.
