I guess we're all just doing the best we can. I still wonder what my life would have been like if there were absolutely no treatments at all available to me. would i have lived? could i have tried harder? i think the answers are clear but i still wonder.
i told my doc a few days ago(i'm on 6 meds btw)I said you know what pisses me off? people w/ bipolar that had a manic episode when they were, say 20, lithium fixed it, been on it ever since, no side effects and their life is great. well, no one's life is great but treatment wise, piece of cake. kay redfield jamison is like that but she suffered and almost died because she didn't want to take her meds. she's a brilliant doctor, author, knows the territory like few others in the world...nope, like that mania.
i know i'm rambling..ambian time.
