It's a long story, and sadly eternally googlible. I see a new doctor on Tuesday. I am hoping it's a good match. Today I was at the urgent care (walk in docs) for a patch through of benzos.
There is a world of misunderstanding out there and people (myself included until very recently) struggle with the idea of medication. There is no essential self for me to reveal. I am jettisoning idealism. All b*llsh*t and cynicism about pharma aside, I am going to look at medication as an imperfect act of kindness. Unless
someone needs it, they really don't know. So absolutely stfu, but I try to be polite, (part of a larger personal
problem for which there is on-going criticism regarding my personal habits).I am managing to build up good boundaries about the med thing and know what's best for me. Thank the stars or whomsoever I have now an (totally freeked but not ill) husband who finally understands and a very smart pro-med friend. How people get through the world w/o advocacy....I don't know.
