I wouldn't worry about any sort of effect of linseed and turpentine. You may just like the smell of turpentine. What brand are you using? You can get rectified or triple distilled, which have no odor. Did you buy it in an art supply or handware store? Turpentine smells terrible these days, but a few years back turpentine smelled fine.

I like the smell, but it won't make you high, if that's what you mean. The main long term effect of turpentine in an unventilated room could at worst be some lung congestion-- Do you have any ventilation or air purifier? Linseed is harmless as far as I know.

However, be careful about the paints.. Some oil paints are toxic if you ingest them, so clean your hands well before eating. Or wear gloves. Or use artguard, which gives some protection and makes them easier to clean.
