I never felt euphoric on Nardil, just euthymic. On film-coated Nardil, I started to notice some antidepressant benefits at 75 mg, but when I tried putting the contents of the pills into enteric capsules I also responded at 60 mg. I should also add that taking my Nardil in the enteric capsules prolongued my response to the medication beyond two weeks. I know that some people on this site like to refer to the initial effects that they get on Nardil as euphoria or hypomania, and I don't doubt that some people have a euphoric/hypomanic reaction to Nardil, but not everybody experiences euphoria/hypomania on Nardil. Some people have higher levels of the MAO enzymes than others, and it makes perfect sense that what can cause a person with low or average MAO levels to become hypomanic would cause someone with high MAO levels to feel euthymic. A lot of people on this site don't understand this, though. They think that if they experienced euphoria on Nardil that others who take the medication must experience the same thing.

P.S. I think I weighed around 160 pounds when I was taking Nardil.
