yeh, I know it sounds like a huge amount but it's standard - at least in USA. I've have heard of dosages of as much as 3600mg/day spread out over a day.

Again diminishing returns with repeated doses over the day. Wait till an hour before bedtime. It's pretty safe med., just watch-out for dizzyness or drunken walking effects if take the larger doses; wait till bedtime and get to bed on time, otherwise you might collide with the doorpost. Don't take large dose and go to work.I'm talking from personal experience plus what I've gathered. Best to you
