Do SSRIs Trump Stimulants?

Posted by qbsbrown on September 28, 2008, at 11:15:07

I noticed when I added an ssri to dexedrine, that i would have to double the dose of dex to have the same effect. My doc said that Ativan was canceling the stimulant out as well.

Is this common. Which anti-depressants affect them the least? I've read about it possibly being Zoloft, because of it's affinity for dopamine.

I'd appreciate the advice.
